Boyana waterfall

At the foot of Vitosha Mountain in the Sofia in Boyana neighborhood is located Boyana Church. It is a starting point to climb to the Boyana waterfall. Parking is difficult, give yourself time because a car can reach here, climbing up a walk. Beginning of the path starts with stairs and a large data plate. The waterfall can be reached by two paths-the first climbs steeply up against the tide of Boyana River, the second has a slight slope and surrounds along Boyana Lake. After less than an hour walk leads to Boyana Lake, pull off to the left at the bridge, here is the time for rest. Next stop is when you reach Pine scale where splendid view to hoof and northwestern districts of Sofia. The trail continues to the left of the valley, crosses the river Petrovichka and continues under very pleasant slope. After 10-15 minutes the trail splits, as the left path (down) is that which leads to a waterfall that only after a further 200-300 meters already heard quite clearly. Beauty is more amazing even than the notes of the Ivan Vazov. And now back down ... overall transition around 3.5 to 4 hours depending on the breaks. And do not forget appropriate footwear, the terrain is slippery.
