Where is Samara flag? Here, to the flags of the bands of Stefan Karadja and Hadji Dimitar in Military Museum in Sofia. More impressive in the yard are guns and war machines of the recent past. Attraction for visitors are Katyusha and tanks. Displayed throughout the museum exhibits are witnesses of Bulgarian and European military history. The visitor touches the richest collections of Bulgarian state arms, uniforms, medals, flags, military stamps, photos. The museum presents a chronological narrative of the history of Bulgarian troops from 681 until today. Presented is the image of Bulgarian troops in the Middle Ages, national liberation struggles, the Russo-Turkish War (1877 - 1978), Serbo-Bulgarian war. Key point occupies the Balkan War (1912 - 1913), in which brilliant victories of the Bulgarian Army are recognized in the world military history. Recreated the participation of armed forces in the First and Second World War and in military missions of the new time. In the museum are displayed 28,000 exhibits from one million fund of the museum. The museum has external exposure too. 40 acres are set over 220 pieces of artillery weapons, armor, aviation, naval, missile and engineering equipment. Exposed individuals are valuable as "MiG 21 BIS, MiG 23 ML", "SU-22 M4, educational and training aircraft L-29 Delfin and transport helicopters MI-2, MI-8" and fighting helicopter MI-24 DB.
Outside the exhibition area to the museum has rooms for temporary exhibitions, two mobile conference halls with 50 and 200 seats, bookstore cafes.
