Route Aleko hut - Golden bridges...

The route from "Aleko" hut in the Plateau area and hut "Bor" to Golden bridges is one of the most popular in the upper part of the Vitosha mountain , as it is relatively short (about 7.5 km , 2 hours) , but presents to tourists some of the most beautiful places in the mountains. In the majority of the route well marked with metal poles trail goes through upland goals .

Starting point is the hotel "Shtastlivetsa " where she goes in the northwest , crossing beautiful pine forest . Then passes through the route of the ski lift " Plateau " and a stone river ( moraine of the last ice age ) and continues gradually gaining height as the truck crossed the road to Black Peak ( 2290 m altitude ) . Then the trail descends gently to the sources of the river and overlooked Dragalevska deviation to the right , resulting in a hut " Prespa " ( 1770 m ) .

On the left side of the track remains picturesque reserve " Peat reserve " whose peat formations are aged more than a millennium and retain large amounts of water . Once separated from the boundary of the protected area , the route climbs gradually to the saddle between the peaks Kamen Del ( 1,862 m ) and Ears ( 1,906 m ) . Shortly before her right are tolerances for shelter Kikish (1850 m) area Bay Krustio ( 1,640 m ) , which in winter avalanche .

From the peak Kamen Del is may be the most beautiful views of the Sofia field across Sofia. It descends in a pine forest covering the western slope of the peak. Pass near the shelter " Ears " and Gyoreva fountain near which also has a shelter . Right there is a deviation to the huts " Tintiava " and "Momina skala" , but the path to move left and after about 5 minutes to reach the hut " Bor" . From here to Zlatnite bridges, one of the most popular and impressive complex of Vitosha Mountain, the starting point of many hiking trails , takes about an hour wide alley .

It crosses a wooden bridge , then cross the path connecting chalets " Boeritsa " and " Bor ", then sea crossing leads to a picturesque water fountain . Driveway descends through alpine meadows, bogs and spruce forests and reach hotel "Elitsa" where continued west . After about ten minutes the route takes us to a large meadow south facing , sheltered among the spruce forest . Nearby there are wooden tables and benches . From here to Golden bridge is just a few minutes.
