Bedechka Park

Park " Bedechka " is located near the main road Stara Zagora - Kazanlak. Park itself covers an area of ​​1,060 acres and is planted in 1958 during his run Bedechka River , 34 km long , which is a left tributary of the River Sazliika . Places of the park has separate areas for relaxation , fitted benches are light. The park is a favorite place for walks and picnics, as it is one of the few places near Stara Zagora, where the air is relatively clean. The park is one of the oldest trees in Bulgaria "Old Chinar" . It is believed that is more than 500 years old. It was declared a natural monument and the State Register under number 385 . As a deciduous tree species represents oriental plane Platanus Orientalist in diameter at the base and 3.5 m circumference 11 m and a height of 17 m. Old Sycamore is a real attraction . Regularly organize cultural events to the tree, and students from different schools care for the preservation and promotion of this venerable tree .
