House-Museum Geo Milev

The museum opened on September 27, 1953. Store 3000 exhibits related to the life and work of Geo Milev - personal, much of the library of the poet with works in several languages, own translations of some of them, and old notebooks marked of yellow color photographs of the time. In one of the rooms - the living room and part memorial, artfully arranged table, chairs and sofa. Everywhere the walls are portraits of the father of the poet himself, to his family. It has a modern audio-visual system that allows visitors to take a documentary film about the poet as an emotional spectacle. In the courtyard there is "Oak of Geo Milev" venerable tree, declared a landmark. This tree was planted in the early XIX century. The tree was a favorite place for the poet and his family. So says the poet's daughter Leda Mileva, who has spent much of his childhood in particular his father's house.

When you step on the threshold of the house, you have magnificent views of a beautifully landscaped garden with greenery and flowers. In the courtyard is the grave of the father of Geo Milev- Miliu Kasabov. Usually at the end of September are held "Geomilev days", National Award is given to an author for a brilliant contribution to Bulgarian culture.

The museum rests on the weekend, but can open by appointment.
