Ecopath " Beklemeto " starts at the highest point of the Troyan - Karnare known as Beklemeto . The route varies between 1550 and 1696 meters altitude and departs to the east of the main road in the direction of the hut " Dermenka ." It follows the route of the International Route " Kom - Emine " to its junction with the ancient Roman cobble , connecting Ulpia Eskus ( the village Gigen ) and Philippopolis ( Plovdiv) .
Then deviates to the right, along the ancient road towards Mt Kurt Hisar (wolf fortress ) . Along the eco-trail are two areas for recreation, for each of which there are many information boards offering us interesting facts about the horizon and typical of the region fauna .
After a relatively short transition reaches the end point of the route - the site Vlashki dairies, tucked between the aforementioned Kurt Hisar and Mount Sivria . Here are found the remains of a Roman roadside station , and is now elevated panoramic playground, equipped with a data plate showing us the history of the area.
From eco-trail returns to the west , passing through the grassy ridge and shortcutting two low -profile above the top, then go again to the Roman road and follow it to the exit point , passing through the stone gate. The total route length is 9 km away. The track is very easy to move , suitable for inexperienced travelers , seniors and groups of children.
All along the eco-trail amazing views open in all directions, but most impressive is the panorama that can be seen in good weather from the site , built at the end point of the route. From there you can enjoy all the mountain varhve east to Botev and west to Vejen . In the north rises Vassiliovska Mountain (the highest in the Fore ) to champion their peak Vassiliov . South again , but fairly similar across the forest, you can enjoy and bluish in the distance, Rila and Rhodope . The track is suitable for all seasons , but it is advisable to go during the warmer months because in winter the area is characterized by large snowdrifts .
