In the region of Tsarevo has many monuments, some of which are of regional and national significance. Here is the oldest reserve in the country Silkosiya - named so even in 1933, town of Tsarevo is located on three small peninsulas and at four bay, making it unique to Bulgaria. The situation resembles that of the city of Rio de Janeiro in a much smaller scale (many small bays and beaches, proximity to mountains). The coastline is indented, rocky peninsulas alternate with small picturesque beaches. The five coastal wetlands with the status of beach are: Central beach length 420 m near the city center; Nestinarka length 690 meters in Vasiliko; Popski beach length 350 m north of the city; Arapya length 600 m, located 2 km in the direction of Lozenets, Oasis length 800 m, located at 3-4 km in the direction of Lozenets. To the south is Mount Papia, the view from there to the coast of Tsarevo and Strandja is amazing. In this part Srandzha is covered with oak forests, which are mixed with beech, hornbeam, walnut, poplar, willow, wild pear, and lately with artificially cultivated pine. In this part of the mountain is well developed and some Mediterranean and relic species - laurel, rhododendron, lavrovishna. The town is an old shipbuilding center. In the local shipyard built the largest Bulgarian ship timber - Goryanin. With the advent of new materials industry has shrunk to the manufacture of fishing boats and scooters, lifeboats, until recently, was produced and trimarans and catamarans. Church of the Assumption stands alone on the southern peninsula of the city. It was built in 1831, but current and architectural image dates from 1895 Tsarevo municipality is rich in monuments, some of which are regional and national significance - the antique Ahtopol Wall and the Greek school in Ahtopol, church St. Cyril and Methodius "in the village of Kosti, St. Panteleimon in Brodilovo village, remains of megalithic culture of the Thracians and others.
