One of the Seven Wonders of Chepino region is Kleptuza - most remarkable, romantic and mysterious corner of Velingrad. The natural phenomenon is Kleptuza - biggest Karst spring in Bulgaria, every second of it rises to 1,200 liters of cold water. Large amounts of this water used for drinking water, the other part of the water forms two marvelous lakes, which then flow into the river Chepinskaand it - in the river Maritsa and the Aegean Sea. From the South karst spring stretch evergreen pine woods in a natural park that is visited by residents of the resort and its guests, especially during the summer. One of the most valuable trees in the park from its creation until today is both ginkgo biloba. Be sure to admire them. This is truly a unique relict species that occurs in many places in Japan and China, especially near the temples, but in our park is a rarity.

Each year, the biggest Christian holiday of Epiphany - Epiphany in the cold waters of Lake Kleptuza throws the Cross.

An interesting fact is that the east is over Kleptusa intersection of meridian 24 and 42 parallel - the most important intersection of Bulgaria. There is a marked trail starting from Kleptuza.

Near Kleptuza is famous cave Lepenitza, which is known mainly with the underground river, which stretches. This cultural and natural heritage is a popular and more. They found seven cave pearls, which are currently in the Natural History Museum in Sofia.
