Saint Iliya

St. Elias ( 1560 m ) is a peak in the Rhodopes over Jagodina . There are signs of a new Panoramic Eagle Eye Site of Mount St. Elias. Unique observation platform called " Eagle Eye " is the newest tourist attraction in the Rhodopes. It is mounted on the edge of the cliff at a height of 1,563 meters above sea level near the famous Jagodinska . The site has a breathtaking view of the beauty of the Rhodope Mountains and endless horizons. The top and the site is accessible by a driver in an attractive route . There is a dirt road that is impassable for cars , but a jeep can go . The vertical displacement of the road in Buynovsko Gorge is more than 600 meters. " Eagle Eye" was launched recently by the local tourism association . Reinforced concrete structure over the rocks holds three tons of cargo . Route from Sofia: Take the "Trakya" highway in the direction of Plovdiv. The road is fast, but near the village Kalugerovo e very poor , about 21-22 km. after deviating Pazardjik must deviate to the village and Tsalapitsa Stamboliisky , continue to Krichim and on to Devon and it 's already here just follow the main road , you can not get confused.
