Ski slope Treshtenik

In the Rila Mountain, just outside the town Yakorouda , winter sports lovers will find another place to exercise their favorite sport . To the hut " Treshtenik " is located a relatively small ski slope . It is equipped with ski lift dish from the slow and small type , like a child in tow Yastrebetz . The track is suitable for advanced and beginners . According to experts , the area has great potential for development of skiing . Has developed a project to build a gondola lift from Treshtenik to Nehtenitsa . Slopes of Mount Kovacs and Mount Dry Vapa suitable for downhill and can make a connection to the village Semkovo .

Situated next to the runway hut " Treshtenik " is located in the northern foot of the hill slopes Bukevitsa , about 1,760 meters above sea level. The hut is a two-storey building with 51 seats for the night . There are rooms with 3, 4 or more beds with internal bathrooms . Later in this building was constructed a massive 4-storey building with 77 places for camping . There are kitchen and the dining room for 40 people. It features a restaurant , bar and nightclub , a TV room , billiard club, sauna, fitness room , ski storage .

The hut can be reached by road from the town Yakorouda . The distance is about 14 km . After the city turn to Rila and crossing railway crossing. The inn is run by the tourist company " Potter ."

To fully enjoy the potential of the site visit at least one of the places in the area. Yakorudskite are breathtaking lakes. Tourist interest in the municipality Yakorouda represent the remains of ancient fortress Gradishtenska Kalya ( Gradishteto ) , the remains of the medieval Roman fortress Kalyata , the remains of a prehistoric settlement near the village Yurukovo the remains of a medieval church ( ninth century ) .

The municipality and park area Yakorouda pass two of the main tourist routes in Rila National Park :

1) hut Potter - Dzhanka - Mount Ovcharets - Marishki peak - Musala - hut Musala

2 ) hut Treshtenik - hut Potter - hut Zavrachitsa and a minor - hut. Semkovo - hut Treshtenik .
