Route Zheleznitsa village - Belc...

This tourist route starts in the center of Zheleznitsa village. It is situated near Sofia and is connected to the capital by several bus lines. This makes it a preferred starting point for hiking tours in Vitosha . The square heads to the bridge Zheleznishka River , from which it continues along a relatively narrow path next left shore . Moving upstream , just a few minutes later, the route crosses the road from Sofia to Samokov and take the dirt road.

It starts here pillar marking that displays hut " Fizkulturna ." Soon passes fulling and smooth climb continues along the valley of the river, until a wide meadow on which the route crosses the low circumferential path. Here there is a center for recreation.

At this point the track is separated from the pillar marking and continues along the left bank upstream of Zheleznishka River . At the beginning of the valley is relatively wide , but after about a kilometer begins to narrow and the road becomes a narrow path , which soon transferred to the right bank . There are two separate nodes , such as the track continues on the right thereof.

Not long after it came to the influx and the trail begins to follow the right slope of Zagorchov coulee. The route passes through beautiful beech forest , with about half an hour after separation from Zheleznishka river reaches spring with a nice , cold water. Only about five minutes from here onto a dirt road and continue on it until Poishta area . There are several springs . The route continues to the southwest and climbs to the saddle between the peaks Great Kechek and Belcheva rock. From the direction changes to the northwest and gradually climb up to the end point of the route.

Belcheva rock peak ( 1831 m above sea level) is a small grassy meadow with scattered stone heaps. Its name comes from the huge scale of its northern slope. Here in good weather are beautiful views of the East and South Vitosha , Rila North Plana and Verila. Additional incentive for real mountaineers is the fact that this part of the mountain is rarely visited .

The duration of the transition is about 2 and a half hours . Displacement is quite serious - 830 meters , so you should feel confident in your physical form. It is also necessary to be well informed about the weather forecast , as you are well equipped .
